Establishes a maternal health peer support pilot program to reduce the risks and manage the effects of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. This program will be established in 5 counties with either high rates of maternal mortality/ morbidity or a shortage of mental health professionals.

Extends CHIP Perinatal coverage to include screening and treatment for postpartum depression for 12 months following the date an enrolled person gives birth to their child.
